Advertisers do it, marketing experts do it, 24 hour media do it—you must do it too. What is it? It is tapping into how and why people pay attention, and what makes a message memorable—sticky and long lasting.
You're focused on the presentation or speech, so you're singled-minded. Your focus comes easily.
The audience comes in with many things on their minds. They don't start paying attention until they arrive in front of you. You need to capture them where they're at and then work to keep them with you.
Here's what Speakonomics!™ is NOT:
If you're only ‘good enough' you are NOT good enough!
Jim Collins says, “Good is the enemy of great.” Yet most people and their
companies accept as ‘good enough' as good enough.
The number one skill required for exceptional business success (sales, differentiation in the market, personal career growth) is speaking eloquently and effectively in public. Invest in speech coaching and presentation skills development and you'll find yourself on the road to “great.”
The Great Speakers Guide to COOL* Speaking is Susan's systematic approach to public speaking and business presentations.
Caution! Susan's workshops are centered on her systematic approach, which is a coaching approach. It is not training. Each workshop is designed to address the particular issues and concerns of the participants in the group. Susan will coach them to use their strengths better and to overcome their particular weaknesses.
Fact #1: Speakers communicate their substance and expertise through their style. The more polished your style, the greater your reputation for substance and expertise.
Fact #2: Speakers who present with personal presence and confidence climb the career ladder more quickly and to a higher level. People attribute positive leadership qualities to those who exude confidence.
Fast Fact #3: Once learned, excellent speaking skills can be incorporated into every presentation situation. You learn to apply the skills in the context of one presentation, then you transfer those to other speaking opportunities.
Fast Fact #4: Speakers who connect with their audiences increase their influence and reputation in all other settings. Once you've been on the presentation platform, you are viewed as an expert everywhere.
Fast Fact #5: Speakers who use multi-media to the best advantage get asked back again and again. The larger your audiences, the greater your influence and reputation.
Fast Fact #6: Speakers who are effective and well-received representatives of their businesses are favored for promotions. The higher the position, the more likely you'll be in the public view. Excellent presentation skills are seen as reducing the risk that you'll make a mistake in public.
Susan's Speech Development System™ is guaranteed to teach you how to deliver presentations that are Creative, Original, Outsized and Liberated.
